Taewa/Riwai is also known as what?...

 



POTATOES!

Kia Ora, 
Did you know that Taewa (or Riwai) is the Maori name for all the different varieties of potatoes.

I have researched why the potato was the main food for the Maori and created a recipe on Canva to support what I found in my research.

What is your favourite style of potatoes?
(mine is mashed and chipped)

    Hi Carter,
    I really enjoyed your introduction and your use of CAPITALS got me really EXCITED about POTATOES!
    My favorite types of potato are fries and crisps. Next time you could tell your reader how many different types of potato there are.
